2020 seems to be lingering on and on. Some of us have felt emotionally and physically exhausted, while others have managed to stay focused on a major goal like the 2020 Boston Virtual Marathon. Maybe you have been able to get out and push yourself to a 2 mile PR for the Bayou Bash Relay. (Claudia Garcia) I find it very inspiring to see Club members out morning and evenings for track workouts every Wednesday and running longer distances around Memorial Park. Some of you are out each day but not running in the way you want, but instead running what you need and that’s ok. This has been a good time to take a break, mentally and physically. If you are lucky, a race can be found outside Harris County limits. As of this posting, the Kia 30K will be run in Sugarland, December 13, 2020. There is a limit on entries so sign up soon. Hope everyone is in good health and hanging in there.
Congratulations to all our Virtual Boston Marathon winners!

HARRA Virtual Fall Series
This season, the Fall HARRA Series will be virtual FOR THE 1ST 3 RACES. This series will be Club/Team scoring only. Individual results will not go towards Runner of the Season, nor Local elite qualification for the Chevron Houston Marathon. Therefore, your run will be greatly appreciated by your Team/Club Members. I feel this is a very good challenge for the rest of the year.
